semiwestern

semiwestern is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2015 by singer-songwriter Jake Luppen and guitarist Max Kuehn. They released their debut EP, "The Vliets EP," in 2016, followed by their debut album, "semiwestern," in 2018. The band's music has been described as "dreamy" and "atmospheric," with a sound that draws from indie rock, folk, and shoegaze. semiwestern has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The War on Drugs, DIIV, and Beach House.
