Magic Tuber Stringband

Magic Tuber Stringband is a folk and bluegrass band from Asheville, North Carolina. The band was formed in 2005 by banjo player and singer Jake Sharp, guitarist and singer Laura Booska, and bassist and singer Matt Sharp. The band's music is a blend of traditional folk and bluegrass with elements of jazz, classical, and experimental music. Magic Tuber Stringband has released six albums, including their most recent album, "Wayward Airs for Earthbound Vagrants," which was released in 2022. The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
