Florida All-State High School Jazz Band

The Florida All-State High School Jazz Band is a collective ensemble of talented young musicians from high schools across the state of Florida. The band is formed annually through a selective audition process, bringing together the best and brightest jazz musicians from various schools to perform and represent the state's rich musical heritage. As part of the Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA), the band participates in live performances and recordings, often alongside the All-State Middle School Jazz Band.

The band's discography includes live recordings from the FMEA conferences, dating back to at least 2014. These albums showcase the band's impressive skill and musicianship, as they perform complex jazz arrangements under the guidance of experienced directors and guest conductors. With a constantly changing roster of students, the Florida All-State High School Jazz Band serves as a launching pad for emerging talent, providing a unique opportunity for young musicians to gain valuable performance experience and make lasting connections with their peers.
