Prize Horse is an indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 2014 by vocalist and guitarist Matt Carroll, bassist and vocalist Alex Johnson, and drummer and vocalist Chris Johnson. Prize Horse's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two full-length albums, "Under Sound" (2016) and "Further From My Start" (2019), as well as several EPs and singles. Prize Horse has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The National, Wilco, and The War on Drugs.
