Baardvader is a Norwegian black metal project that has been active since 2015. The project is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Baard Kolstad, who is also known for his work with bands such as Borknagar, ICS Vortex, and Ulver. Baardvader's music is characterized by its atmospheric and melodic approach to black metal, with a strong emphasis on keyboards and synths. The project has released four full-length albums to date, with the most recent being "Pray" in 2022.
