Fear Falls Burning

Fear Falls Burning is a Belgian drone/ambient music project conceived by musician Dirk Serries. It was initiated in 2005 as a minimalist exercise, evolving into a deep exploration of purity and subdued power in music. Known for creating dense, trance-inducing soundscapes using the electric guitar with extensive pedal effects, Fear Falls Burning stands out in the drone scene with its unique techniques and live performances. The project became a significant part of Serries' work after he ended his involvement with Vidna Obmana in 2007.
