The Haxan Cloak
The Haxan Cloak is the dark ambient project of British producer and composer Bobby Krlic. Emerging in the early 2010s, he became known for dense, low-end-heavy sound design that pulls from drone, industrial, and experimental electronic music, with releases on the UK label Tri Angle. His early full-lengths include the self-titled *The Haxan Cloak* and the stark, subterranean follow-up *Excavation*.
Beyond his own records, Krlic has built a reputation as a sought-after collaborator and scorer, creating music for film and television and working with other artists as a producer/remixer. Across all of it, the Haxan Cloak name has come to signal immersive, physical-feeling atmosphere—music that’s as much about space and texture as it is about melody or rhythm.
