Fleur Earth, born Fleur Mouanga, is an Afro-German soul singer-songwriter. She spent most of her childhood and youth in the Congo before moving to Cologne with her family in 1989. In Cologne, she began her musical journey, initially meeting fellow musicians at an open mic session in 2005. This led to the formation of the Fleur Earth Experiment with musicians like Tim Purnell, Lewis Gropp, and Daan Henderson. Her music often incorporates elements of neo-soul, drawing comparisons to artists like Erykah Badu and Georgia Anne Muldrow. Fleur Earth is known for her lyrical depth and rhythmic expression, often addressing themes against machismo and sexism in her work.
Fleur Earth has released several albums, including *Skurreal* (2008), *Es entstehen Wesen* (2009), *Explosionsschutz – Kurzschluss* (2014), and *Megaherz* (2019). Her recent releases also include *Seele* (2023). She has collaborated with various artists, such as Suff Daddy and Quo Vadis, and has been involved in projects like Forsch' und Facette.
