Vincent Lauzer

Vincent Lauzer is a Canadian recorder virtuoso known for his vibrant interpretations and technical mastery across a wide range of baroque and contemporary repertoire. A graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, he has gained international attention for breathing new life into the recorder, performing both solo and with ensembles across North America and Europe.

Lauzer is celebrated for his work with chamber groups like Flûte Alors! and Les Songes, and he's a regular on the early music festival circuit, including the Lamèque International Baroque Music Festival, where he has served as artistic director. His discography showcases his versatility, from baroque masterpieces by Vivaldi and Telemann to adventurous new works blending recorder with electronics. Through his performances and recordings, Lauzer continues to redefine what the recorder can do in the 21st century.
