Hell Razah

Hell Razah, born Chron Smith on October 1, 1976, is an acclaimed American rapper and founding member of Sunz of Man, an early affiliate group of the Wu-Tang Clan. With his gritty lyrics and sharp delivery, Hell Razah has built a reputation as a relentless emissary of conscious hip-hop, often weaving themes of social justice, spirituality, and struggle into his narrative. His solo career took off after the success of Sunz of Man, particularly with his debut solo album "Renaissance Child" released in 2007.

Despite suffering a brain aneurysm in April 2010, which put him in a coma and led to a long period of recovery, Hell Razah's spirit and dedication to his craft remained unbroken. Through determination and rehabilitation, he continued his musical journey, releasing projects like "The Shamayim (The Rapture Of The Son Of Man)" and "Heaven/Hell's Road Instrumentals", which showcase not only his resilience but also his growth as an artist. His work is revered for its depth and his ability to inspire through a fusion of storytelling and a deep understanding of street discourse. A central figure in the sub-genre of spiritual and conscious hip-hop, Hell Razah is respected as much for his lyrical prowess as for his fortitude in the face of adversity.
