Vision Of Disorder

Vision of Disorder, often abbreviated as V.O.D., is a band that has carved out a significant place for themselves within the hardcore and metal scenes. Emerging from Long Island, New York in the mid-1990s, the group became known for their unique blend of hardcore punk intensity, heavy metal riffs, and emotionally charged vocals. Their self-titled debut album "Vision of Disorder," released in 1996, quickly asserted their presence, defined by its raw energy and fearless experimentation, setting them apart from their contemporaries.

Over the years, Vision of Disorder has maintained their reputation for being unafraid to evolve their sound. Albums like "Imprint" (1998) pushed the boundaries even further, featuring their signature aggressive style while flirting with melodic elements. The turn of the millennium saw the band exploring a more alternative metal direction with "From Bliss to Devastation" (2001). Following a hiatus, the band returned with renewed vigor, releasing "The Cursed Remain Cursed" in 2012, which was seen as a triumphant return to their hardcore roots with a modern polish. Their most recent offering, "Razed to the Ground" (2015), continues to exemplify their enduring ability to blend the brutality of hardcore with the complexities of metal, solidifying their status as influential stalwarts in the heavy music community.
