Yossi Arnheim

Yossi Arnheim is a renowned Israeli flutist, born in Tel Aviv. He has been the principal flutist of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra since 1983 and has enjoyed a successful international career as a soloist. Arnheim has performed with numerous orchestras worldwide, including the Bratislava Chamber Orchestra, the South-West Germany Chamber Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of China. He is also a dedicated educator, serving as the head of the winds program at the Jerusalem Music Center and as a flute professor at both the Jerusalem Academy of Music and the Buchman-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv. Additionally, he has released 13 CDs on various international labels and has been a member of the Jewish Arabic ensemble Sheshbesh, which was awarded the Tolerance Medal by the European Culture Forum in 2006.

Arnheim's musical repertoire spans a wide range of classical works, as evidenced by his recent releases, which include albums featuring compositions by Bach, Telemann, and Mozart. His contributions to the music world are not only as a performer but also as an educator and cultural ambassador through his work with diverse musical ensembles.
