Wig Wam

Wig Wam is a Norwegian glam metal band formed in Halden in 2001. The band consists of vocalist Åge Sten Nilsen (Glam), guitarist Trond Holter (Teeny), bassist Bernt Jansen (Flash), and drummer Øystein Andersen (Sporty). Known for their blend of glam metal and hard rock with humorous lyrics and imagery, Wig Wam gained international recognition when they represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "In My Dreams," placing ninth. The band has released several albums, including "667.. The Neighbour of the Beast," "Wig Wamania," "Non Stop Rock'n Roll," "Wall Street," "Never Say Die," and "Out of the Dark." After disbanding in 2014, Wig Wam reunited in 2019 and experienced a resurgence in popularity in 2022 when their music was featured in the HBO Max series "Peacemaker."

Wig Wam's recent releases include "HUMAN FIRE," "Out of the Dark," "Forevermore," "High n Dry," "Do Ya Wanna Taste It (Tungevaag Remix)," "Never Say Die," "Kilimanjaro," and "Wall Street." The band's music often combines catchy hooks with energetic performances, making them a beloved act in both Norway and beyond. Their fan base, known as Wig Wamaniacs, has supported the band through their various tours and album releases. With their unique style and enduring popularity, Wig Wam continues to be a significant force in the glam metal scene.
