Holy White Hounds

**Holy White Hounds** were a gritty, blues-infused garage rock band hailing from Des Moines, Iowa, known for their raw energy and hook-heavy sound. Formed in the early 2010s, the band revolved around frontman Brenton Dean, whose raspy vocals and charismatic stage presence became their signature. Their 2016 debut album, *Sparkle Sparkle*, showcased their knack for fuzzed-out riffs and swaggering melodies, earning them a loyal following in the Midwest rock scene. Tracks like "Say It With Your Mouth" and the *Soak the Master Sessions* releases highlighted their garage-punk edge and DIY ethos. Sadly, the band disbanded in 2017 following Dean’s unexpected passing, leaving behind a brief but fiery catalog that still resonates with fans of unpolished, heartfelt rock ’n’ roll.
