Dirk Herten
Dirk Herten is a Belgian classical pianist born in 1968. He has recorded several albums of classical piano works, including the complete Beethoven piano sonatas and arrangements of Gershwin songs by Michael Finnissy. Herten's performance of Finnissy's Gershwin arrangements was praised by the composer himself for its "delicately shaded super-awareness of all the harmonic details, and an amazing refined grasp of piano sonority and nuance".
