Ace of Wands

Ace of Wands is a Toronto-based **dream rock trio** formed in 2017 around singer-songwriter **Lee Rose**, who channels personal experiences like a life-altering period of mental illness into their surreal, immersive sound—think PJ Harvey's art-rock edge mixed with Kate Bush's orchestral pop and Nirvana's alt-rock fuzz. Rose teams up with Anna Mernieks (from Beams) and drummer Jody Brumell, connections sparked at gigs and tours like opening for Blue Rodeo with Ron Hawkins' band, creating music full of yearning, dread, and euphoria.
