Mermaid Chunky
Mermaid Chunky is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Emily Sprague, bassist and vocalist Lily Konigsberg, and drummer Nick Sylvester. Mermaid Chunky's music is characterized by its dreamy, ethereal sound, which has been compared to the work of bands like Mazzy Star and Cocteau Twins. The band has released two EPs, "Céilí" (2019) and "VEST" (2020), and is currently working on their debut album.
