The New York Second
The New York Second is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2010, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Matt Hill, bassist and vocalist Chris Egan, and drummer and vocalist Matt Maraldo. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, with influences ranging from shoegaze to post-punk. The band has released several albums and EPs, including "After the Hours, the Minutes" (2018), "Moon, 2018" (2018), and "Professor Nelson Strikes Again" (2020). They have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have shared the stage with bands such as DIIV, Beach Fossils, and The War on Drugs.
