Year Of The Fist is a rock band from Oakland, California, formed in 2011 when four friends with diverse musical backgrounds—ranging from blues and acoustic to punk, indie, and country—came together with a shared love for rock and roll. Their debut album, *Death, Breath, Light, and Pain*, released in 2012, brought a fresh, distinctive sound to the West Coast rock scene, setting them apart from more cookie-cutter bands. Over the years, they have built a loyal following through extensive touring across small towns and big cities, capturing the energy of their live performances. In 2016, they followed up with the vinyl-only EP *Dirty Laundry*, further cementing their gritty, authentic style.
