Zinatra was a Dutch hard rock and AOR band that made waves in the late '80s and early '90s. Formed in 1986, the group originally featured Joss Mennen on vocals, Sebastian Floris and Gino Rerimassie on guitars, Ronald J. Lieberton on bass, Ed Rokx on drums, and later added keyboardist Robby Valentine. Their debut album, released in 1988, included the hit single "Love or Loneliness," which reached #18 on the Dutch charts. The band toured internationally, even opening for David Lee Roth, and released a second album, The Great Escape, in 1990. After Valentine's departure in 1992 and Mennen's exit to form another band, Zinatra eventually disbanded.
Though their active years were relatively short, Zinatra left a mark on the Dutch rock scene. Decades later, the band made a comeback with new releases like Rockumentary Part 1 and Part 2 in 2004, and the single "This Song is for You" in 2019, showing their enduring connection to fans and the genre.
