Daoko

Daoko is a Japanese singer and rapper born on March 4, 1997, in Tokyo. She began her music career at the age of 15 by posting rap music on the Japanese video-sharing platform Nico Nico Douga in 2012. This early start led to her being signed by the indie label LOW HIGH WHO? PRODUCTION. During her early years, Daoko kept her face hidden due to her school's strict policies against students engaging in the entertainment industry. She gained significant attention for her vocal work and collaborations, including her single "IRONY" with m-flo in 2013. After leaving LOW HIGH WHO?, Daoko signed with the major label TOY'S FACTORY in 2015 and began showing her face publicly, starting with her single "ShibuyaK / Samishii Kamisama" that same year.
