Mama Kin is a Canadian rock band formed in 1973. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist/guitarist Dave Croll, bassist Jim Henshaw, and drummer Neil Chater. Mama Kin released their debut album, "Mama Kin," in 1974, which was a commercial success in Canada. The band's follow-up album, "Get Up," was released in 1975 and was also a commercial success. Mama Kin continued to release albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, but they never achieved the same level of commercial success as their first two albums. The band broke up in 1989, but they reunited in 2004 and have been touring and recording ever since.
