Kiko Veneno, born José María López Sanfeliu on April 3, 1952, in Figueres, Catalonia, Spain, is an influential figure in the Spanish music scene, particularly known for his unique blend of rock, rumba, and flamenco. He first rose to prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s, establishing himself as an innovative artist who infused traditional Spanish music with contemporary sounds and poetically rich lyrics.
