Firungi

Firungi is an Indian American artist, designer, and event developer based in Brooklyn known for blending ethnically-focused club music with cultural experiences. Originally from Seattle with ties to Los Angeles, London, and Mumbai, Firungi creates music and live events that bring together people from all backgrounds to celebrate cultural diversity through dance and sound. In 2021, he launched the popular ‘Firungi Funk’ event series in Seattle before moving to New York in 2022, gaining support from notable figures like Marco Carola and Damian Lazarus while sharing stages with artists such as Chris Lake and Sarz.

His work spans beyond music into designing clothing and immersive live experiences, all rooted in the idea that “everyone is foreign somewhere,” which is the meaning of Firungi in Hindi. His sound incorporates elements from various global styles, making his music a bridge between cultures—a mission reflected in his releases like *COME TO ME* (EP), *Without You (Tere Bina)*, and house editions of his tracks like *24 Hrs* and *Can I*. Firungi’s vibrant approach makes him stand out as a cultural connector in contemporary club music.
