SOAPBOX is a Scottish post-punk band that formed in Glasgow in 2018. The band consists of vocalist Billy MacKenzie, guitarist Stevie Jackson, bassist Gary Mounfield, and drummer Chris Sharrock. SOAPBOX's music is characterized by its angular guitars, driving rhythms, and socially conscious lyrics. The band has released two albums, "The Fear" (2020) and "HAWD THAT" (2022), and has toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. SOAPBOX is known for their energetic live performances and their commitment to DIY ethics.
