Night Teacher is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Alex Menne, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Jake Lenderman. Night Teacher's music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, which incorporates elements of shoegaze, dream pop, and indie rock. The band has released two EPs, "Dear Ellen" and "Desert Psalm," and is currently working on their debut album.
