**hEADaCHE** is the collaborative project between London-based producer Vegyn (real name Joseph Winger Thornalley) and writer/poet Francis Hornsby Clark, blending trip-hop and downtempo electronica with AI-generated spoken-word vocals for a quirky, unlikable upper-middle-class English character vibe. They dropped their debut album *The Head Hurts but the Heart Knows the Truth* in May 2023 on Vegyn's PLZ Make It Ruins label, which blew up organically with over 19 million Spotify streams and 8,000 physical copies sold—no promo needed—and tracks like those from *1nterim* fitting right into their experimental sound.

Their sophomore effort *Thank You for Almost Everything* hit in October 2025, diving into personal tales of school days, Rome's graffiti, beachfront fights, and life's wild ride, again with instrumental versions on vinyl and artwork by Cali Thornhill DeWitt; it's already building a die-hard fanbase, complete with tattoos of their lyrics. Vegyn handles production and mixing (like on this latest at RAK Studios), while Clark pens the words—proving AI vocals can actually slap when the writing's real.
