Florry is a Philadelphia-based country rock band led by Francie Medosch. The project started as Medosch's bedroom indie rock venture but has since evolved into a full band exploring genres like alt-country, cowpunk, and roots rock. Florry's sound has transformed over the years, moving from lo-fi indie rock to a more expansive country-influenced style. Their 2023 album "The Holey Bible," released on Dear Life Records, showcases this evolution with its rollicking, raw country-rock sound.
The band's lineup has grown from a four-piece to a seven-piece ensemble, incorporating instruments like pedal steel and fiddle. Florry has released several projects, including "Brown Bunny" in 2018, "Big Fall" in 2021, and "The Holey Bible" in 2023. Their music has been distributed by respected independent labels such as Sister Polygon, 12XU, and Dear Life Records, garnering attention in the underground music scene.
