Cherubs

Cherubs are an American noise rock band that first emerged from the vibrant underground music scene in Austin, Texas, in the early 1990s. Initially active until 1994, the group burned bright and fast, exemplified by their 1994 album "Heroin Man," which became a cult classic in noise rock circles. After a long hiatus, they made a triumphant return in the mid-2010s, showcasing that their ability to blend dissonance with hooks had not diminished with time.

Their comeback has been marked by a series of new recordings that continue to push the boundaries of the genre, including "Immaculada High" (2019) and "2 Ynfynyty" (2015). In addition, the band has revisited their early work through remastered releases that include "Icing" (2023 Remaster), "Half a Rat" (Remastered), and "Sugary" (Remastered), ensuring that both new and old fans can experience the raw, chaotic energy of their music with renewed clarity. Cherubs maintain their significant influence and legacy in the noise rock and alternative music scenes through both reissues and new creations, characterized by their searing guitars, relentless rhythms, and enigmatic vocals.
