Noise Punk

Noise punk is a raw and confrontational music genre that eschews traditional melody and harmony for abrasive sounds and aggressive performances. Characterized by its lo-fi aesthetic, distorted guitars, and chaotic feedback, noise punk bands often employ shouted, often incomprehensible vocals and a frenetic energy that is both rebellious and unsettling. With a DIY ethos, these artists push the limits of sonic assault, combining elements of punk rock's speed and rebellion with the experimental edge of noise music. The result is a cacophonous blend that is as much a physical experience as it is an auditory one, reflecting a visceral disdain for commercialism and polished sounds. Live shows are intense and often anarchic, mirroring the unpredictable and explosive nature of the genre itself.
