Free Union

Free Union is a vibrant music collective based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Led by Michael Coleman on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Rob Dunnenberger on drums, the group also features Carrie Coleman on vocals, Parker Hawkins on bass, and Tyler Hutcherson on keys. Their sound is a dynamic blend of soul, rhythm and blues, rock, and pop, reflecting their desire to bring people and musical styles together. The band has gained momentum with notable performances, including appearances at the Lockn' Music Festival in 2019 and 2021, and a feature on NPR's World Café in 2020. They have also released several projects, including the "No Pressure" EP and singles like "Good Life" and "If You Can You Will," showcasing their energetic live shows and prolific output.
