Dag och Natt

**Dag och Natt** is a Stockholm-based Swedish band whose name translates to "Day and Night," reflecting their artistic mission to explore both light and dark emotional themes in their music. The band features three vocalists—Elia Mårtensson Almegård, Sara Engström, and Maja Zetterberg—and crafts songs characterized by a delicate balance between dense textures and airy melodies. Formed with the initial idea of having two separate projects representing light and dark aspects, Dag och Natt chose instead to merge these elements into one cohesive act. Their debut album, *Years and Years*, released in August 2025, showcases this duality through atmospheric soundscapes blending shoegaze and dream pop influences reminiscent of the 1980s-90s era. Tracks like "Iron Man" convey a quiet, steady strength, embodying the band's philosophy of carrying on with calm power. Created partly in a secluded cabin environment away from the bustle of everyday life, their music invites listeners into hypnotic, immersive worlds where emotional contrasts play out with both subtlety and intensity.
