Cracow Golden Quintet

The Cracow Golden Quintet is a Polish wind quintet composed of talented musicians from Poland's Academies of Music. The ensemble includes Natalia Jarząbek on flute, Damian Świst on oboe, Tomasz Sowa on clarinet, Małgorzata Wygoda on bassoon, and Konrad Gołda on horn. They are known for their sensitive and flawless performances, often preferring a soft and round sound that makes their playing full-bodied and pleasant. The quintet has performed works by renowned composers such as Grażyna Bacewicz, Wojciech Kilar, and György Ligeti, showcasing a diverse repertoire that includes both Polish and international pieces.

In 2019, the Cracow Golden Quintet won the second prize at the prestigious International Polish Music Competition named after Stanisław Moniuszko in Rzeszów. They have also released an album titled "Polish Wind Quintets" in 2020, which was nominated for the FRYDERYK 2021 award in the Chamber Music Album of the Year category. Their performances are highly acclaimed for their technical skill and musicality, making them a standout ensemble in the world of chamber music.
