Derek William Dick, better known by his stage name Fish, is a Scottish singer, songwriter, and occasional actor. As the original lead vocalist of the neo-prog band Marillion, Fish was a key figure in the band's early success, fronting the group from 1979 to 1988 and appearing on several critically acclaimed albums, including "Script for a Jester's Tear" and "Misplaced Childhood".
After leaving Marillion, Fish pursued a successful solo career, releasing a string of albums that showcased his distinctive vocal style and lyrical depth. With his eclectic blend of progressive rock, folk, and pop influences, Fish has maintained a devoted fan base and continues to tour and release new music to this day.
