Lansdowne

Lansdowne is an American rock band known for their dynamic sound that fuses elements of hard rock, post-grunge, and alternative metal. The group has carved out a niche in the music industry with their energetic performances and anthemic songwriting. Originally formed in Boston, Massachusetts, the band's journey began when lead vocalist Jon Ricci and guitarist Shaun Lichtenstein decided to translate their shared passion for music into a cohesive project. As they gained traction in the rock scene, bassist Glenn Mungo, drummer Josh Waterman, and guitarist Josh Hatfield joined to complete the ensemble.

Over the years, Lansdowne has built a robust discography marked by catchy hooks, powerful guitar riffs, and raw, emotive vocals. With recent releases such as their hard-hitting single "Bury Me," and the electrifying track "Safeword," they continue to showcase their versatility and willingness to evolve with the changing tides of the rock genre. Their cover of "Last Christmas" offers a rock-infused take on a holiday classic, exemplifying their ability to put a unique spin on a wide range of music. Songs like "Medicine" and its Noya Remix add a darker, more intense layer to their repertoire, and tracks like "Halo" and "No Crown" further solidify Lansdowne's place in the arena of modern rock music. Their ability to blend melodic accessibility with lyrical depth ensures that Lansdowne's presence resounds well beyond their New England roots.
