The Ossuary

The Ossuary is an Italian band that emerged in 2014, formed by three members of the death metal band Natron: Max Marzocca on drums, Domenico Mele on guitars, and Dario "Captain" De Falco on bass. They were joined by Stefano "Stiv" Fiore from the prog/power metal band Twilight Gate on vocals. The band's music style is a blend of traditional doom and classic rock, with a strong emphasis on blues influences. Their debut album, "Post Mortem Blues," was released in 2017, followed by "Southern Funeral" in 2019. The latter album continues their exploration of themes related to death and doom, reflecting their Southern Italian roots and cultural heritage. The Ossuary's sound is characterized by its energetic and layered approach to songwriting, often incorporating elements like keyboards and synths to enhance their heavy doom rock style.

The band's live performances have included tours across Italy and Europe, with plans for future international tours. Max Marzocca has noted that The Ossuary is his primary focus now, as Natron has been on hiatus since around 2017. The Ossuary's music is not constrained by genre boundaries, allowing them to experiment freely with different styles and sounds. Their releases, such as "Oltretomba" and "Ratking," further showcase their evolving musical direction.
