Killarmy

Killarmy is an American hip-hop group that is closely associated with the Wu-Tang Clan. Emerging from Staten Island, New York, the group was originally formed by six members: 9th Prince (who is RZA's younger brother), Islord, Dom Pachino, Killa Sin, Beretta 9 (also known as Kinetic 9), and Shogun Assason. Their trademark style is heavily influenced by military themes and an interest in the art of war, which often influences their music and lyrics, leading to a gritty, militant style of rap.

Killarmy released their debut album, "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars," in 1997. This release was met with critical acclaim and established their place in the hardcore sector of the rap genre, setting the tone for subsequent projects. Over the years, they have consistently built upon their legacy with a series of albums, including "Dirty Weaponry" (1998) and "Fear, Love & War" (2001). After a hiatus, the group reunited to continue contributing to the hip-hop scene with albums like "Full Metal Jackets" and its accompanying instrumentals. Their propensity for crafting lyrical narratives that combine social awareness with street-smart consciousness has carved out a distinct niche for them in the hip-hop community, ensuring that the impact of Killarmy's music resonates with their listeners and endures over time.
