Omah Lay is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer who has rapidly become one of the leading voices in Africa's afrobeats scene. Born Stanley Omah Didia on May 19, 1997, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, he gained prominence with his soulful voice, introspective lyrics, and a contemporary twist on afrobeats, which resonates with a global audience. His musical ascent began in earnest with the release of his debut single, "Do Not Disturb," in April 2019. Omah Lay's breakthrough came with his hit "Bad Influence," taken from his debut EP "Get Layd," which dropped in May 2020 and established his place in Nigeria's musical landscape.

Riding the waves of his initial success, Omah Lay continued to charm fans with his melodious delivery and relatable themes. His subsequent project, “What Have We Done” EP, featuring the international hit "Godly," cemented his status as an artist to watch. In the years that followed, Omah Lay maintained a steady release of chart-topping tracks including "Holy Ghost," "Bad," and "Attention" with global superstar Justin Bieber.
