Eva Maria Doroszkowska is an internationally acclaimed pianist known for her dramatic and colorful interpretations of piano repertoire. Her expressive performances have earned her high praise, with critics highlighting her emotional commitment and sensitivity in conveying both lyricism and dramatic intensity. She has performed extensively across Europe and beyond, with appearances at prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera House in London, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and numerous festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Tivoli Mozart Festival in Copenhagen, and the International Prague Budapest Vienna Chamber Festival. Eva Maria is particularly noted for championing Polish composers, and she has premiered contemporary works such as Per Nørgård’s "Cantica" for cello and piano. Her broad interests span from classical to new music, collaborating with composers and ensembles ranging from string quartets to jazz bands.
Educated at esteemed institutions including the Royal Northern College of Music, the Szymanowski Academy in Poland, the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam, and the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Eva Maria has won numerous scholarships and awards. Beyond performing, she is a dedicated teacher at the Royal Academy of Music’s Junior Department, an adjudicator for the British International Federation of Festivals, and a mentor supporting gifted young musicians. Her latest CD release, "Baltic Tides," came out in June 2025, showcasing solo piano music inspired by Baltic cultural soundscapes. Eva Maria also contributes as a freelance journalist for music publications and has appeared on BBC and Polish television broadcasts.
