Modestep

Modestep is an electronic music duo hailing from London, formed in 2010 by brothers Josh (vocals and keyboards) and Tony Friend (DJ, guitar, and vocals). The outfit has built a reputation for blending the intensity and melodic nature of live rock music with the heavy beats and bass of dubstep, a genre they've been closely associated with since their emergence. Their bold approach to production and dynamic performances have earned them a dedicated fan base and recognition within the electronic music scene.

Since their initial splash in the early 2010s with hits like "Sunlight" and "Feel Good," Modestep has continued to evolve their signature sound, navigating through various electronic subgenres while retaining their distinct edge. The release of works such as the "Diamonds EP," "Solastalgia," and a series of potent remixes like "Final Boss (Modestep Remix)" showcases their versatility and continued relevance in the ever-changing landscape of electronic music. Notably, the group has also expanded into the realm of music production tools, evidenced by their sample pack demos "Spicy Trap House Vol. 1" and "Bass Evolution Vol. 2," further cementing their influence as tastemakers and producers in the industry. Whether through their gripping original tracks like "Lost My Way" or their remixes and sample packs, Modestep has demonstrated a relentless pursuit of musical innovation.
