Rough Francis

Rough Francis is a rock band from Burlington, Vermont formed in 2008 by brothers Bobby, Julian, and Urian Hackney. The band was originally created to pay tribute to the music of Death, a proto-punk band from the 1970s formed by the Hackney brothers' father and uncles. After discovering their family's musical legacy, Rough Francis began by covering Death's songs before transitioning to writing and performing their own original material.

The band has released several albums including "Maximum Soul Power" in 2014 and "MSP3: Counter Attack" in 2018. Rough Francis is known for their energetic punk rock sound and has gained recognition in the punk scene, with their song "Deathwire" even being featured in the soundtrack for the video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 in 2020.
