Filip Xavi

Filip Xavi is a techno artist from Belgrade, Serbia, widely regarded as a pillar of the city’s contemporary techno scene. As the resident DJ of Belgrade’s iconic Drugstore club, he is known for pushing boundaries with his cerebral, dark, and hypnotic style, often incorporating relentless drum programming and abstract soundscapes into his music. Over a decade-long residency, Filip has performed and curated over 100 events at Drugstore, helping to define and shape the local techno culture.

He founded his own label, Teskoba Recordings, and has released music on respected imprints such as Newrhythmic, MindTrip, KR/LF Records, and Subsist. Recent releases like "Origin," "Voltage EP," and "Apsides" showcase his evolving sound, which draws inspiration from techno pioneers such as Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, and Luke Slater. Filip is recognized for his innovative approach to techno, blending genre-defying elements with a distinct personal signature.
