Young Prisms

Young Prisms is a San Francisco-based shoegaze band known for their ethereal soundscapes, fuzzy guitars, and hazy vocals. Emerging onto the indie scene in the late 2000s, they quickly garnered attention with their self-titled EP and a unique blend of shoegaze and noise pop elements. Their music is characterized by a nostalgic nod to the '90s alternative scene while infusing modern dream pop sensibilities.

After their initial releases, including the acclaimed albums "Friends For Now" and "In Between," the group went on a brief hiatus, returning to the music world with renewed energy and a slightly altered lineup. Their post-hiatus releases such as "Drifter" and "Honeydew" show a band that has matured in its sound, producing more polished yet still profoundly atmospheric tracks that resonate with both new and old fans. Young Prisms continue to captivate listeners with their evocative melodies and have established themselves as a significant presence in the contemporary shoegaze revival movement.
