Richard Burchard
Richard Burchard is a contemporary American composer known for his choral works. His music is characterized by its lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and evocative texts. Burchard's compositions have been performed by choirs around the world, and he has received numerous awards and commissions for his work. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School and the University of Michigan, and he currently serves as the Composer-in-Residence at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
