TR/ST, also known simply as Trust, is a Canadian electronic music project that has garnered a dedicated following for its moody, atmospheric, and often dark synth-heavy soundscapes. The driving force behind TR/ST is Robert Alfons, who started the project in the late 2000s. Initially, Alfons collaborated with Maya Postepski for the project's earlier phase, including on their acclaimed debut album "TRST" released in 2012. The blend of Alfons' haunting baritone voice and the duo's penchant for gothic and darkwave influences quickly established them on the indie electronic music scene.

Over the years, TR/ST has evolved as Alfons took the reins as the sole permanent member. Postepski's departure after the first album left Alfons to singularly sculpt the project's sonic identity. Known for his enigmatic persona and for eschewing traditional mainstream promotional tactics, Alfons lets TR/ST's music speak for itself.
