Above Snakes

Above Snakes is a band formed by vocalist Johnny Skulls and guitarist Dax Dabs. After years of playing in various bands in Los Angeles, they decided to pursue their own creative vision and returned to their hometown of Boston. The duo launched Above Snakes during the pandemic, releasing their debut single "Adrenaline" in the summer of 2020, which gained significant attention, including placements on prominent Spotify playlists. Since then, they have released several singles, including "Never Alone," "I Feel Bad," "Nothing To Lose," "The Broken Ones," and "Living The Nightmare." The band's name is inspired by an old western term meaning "above ground and still living," symbolizing overcoming life's challenges.

Above Snakes is known for their rebellious authenticity and DIY approach, often creating their own music videos and sets. They have toured extensively, supporting notable bands like From Ashes To New and RA. Their music reflects a strong attitude of independence and a desire to rock out without compromise. The band continues to produce new material and engage with fans through their energetic live performances and creative projects.
