The Youth Play

The Youth Play is a four-piece alternative and indie rock band based in West London, formed under the creative vision of frontman Diego Bracho, a Latin American migrant originally from Mexico City. Since their formation in 2021, the band has made waves with their dreamy, yet earnest blend of indie rock and pop, marked by emotive lyrics and a passion for storytelling that tackles personal and societal themes, including migration and multiculturalism in modern Britain.

The group has gained recognition for their energetic live shows at major venues and festivals such as Boomtown Fair, The Roundhouse, and Brixton Academy, and they’ve toured Europe and the UK alongside notable acts. Recent releases like “A Fair Life,” “If We Just Ever Were,” “Wildflowers,” “On Fire,” and “After a Moment” showcase their evolving sound and commitment to using music as a means of connection and social commentary.
