Gomorrha was a German psychedelic and hard rock band from the Rhineland region, active between 1969 and 1973. They are known for their experimental and heavy psych sound, blending freaky rock with abstract sound collages and electronics. The band initially recorded their debut album in German but soon re-recorded it with English vocals, releasing it as *Trauma* in 1971, produced by the legendary Conny Plank. They followed it up with the 1972 album *I Turned to See Whose Voice It Was* on the Brain label before disbanding. Despite limited recognition during their active years, Gomorrha's music has gained appreciation over time for its apocalyptic mood and Krautrock innovation. Members like guitarist Adalbert Ochel later moved on to careers outside music, while others found success in jazz and blues.
