My Enchantment

My Enchantment is a melodic death metal band from Barreiro, Portugal, formed in 1999 under the original name Near Death Experience. Current members include vocalist Alex Zander, guitarists João Feio and Pedro Alves, keyboardist Rui Gonçalves, bassist Fernando Barroso, and drummer Ricardo Oliveira. They’ve released symphonic-leaning albums like *Illuminare*, part of a trilogy inspired by Dante’s *Divine Comedy*, along with *Malebolge* and *The Death of Silence*. Their style blends aggressive riffing with atmospheric keyboards, and they have remained active in the underground metal scene since their early 2000s emergence.
