Born in Germany and raised across Europe, Krell's music reflects diverse influences from Latin folk to classical and blues. Based in Kingston, New York, Hen in the Foxhouse often collaborates with engineer/keyboardist Ru Lemer from the UK. Their debut album, "Look Up," released in 2024, showcases themes of nature, astronomy, feminism, and dreams. Krell's background also includes being a former Women's Studies professor, showcasing a blend of academia and artistic expression.
